Guacamole Recipe - The Best Guacamole I’ve Ever Had

Published by kohuether at 11:04 pm under Appetizer Edit This

I made this when my sister and her boyfriend came over for dinner. It was my first time making guacamole so I found 5-6 recipes and came up with my own version based on my tastes. It definitely paid off. My sister was pleased too and between the four of us, the dip didn’t last long.

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados

1/2 onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbs chopped fresh cilantro

2 tbs fresh squeezed lime juice

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp chili powder

Instructions:

Cut the avocados in half lengthwise and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh using a sturdy spoon. Mash the flesh with a potato masher. Add onion, garlic, lime juice, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Stir until ingredients are well blended. Serve with tortilla chips.
